The brief
The leading intellectual property protection firm Farncombe International wanted to celebrate a landmark anniversary with a ‘thank you’ party for clients and employees.

Our approach
We proposed that the event should be held at an architecturally intriguing venue that also symbolised the importance of the preservation of intellectual property and to which access is normally only open to a privileged few: the British Library. We organised and managed the event for Farncombe, including arranging activities that included a presentation by the Intel Corporation’s Director of Legal Affairs, guided tours of the Library and its new Intellectual Property Centre, live music from a 1940s-style dance band and an unusual late autumn barbecue on the Library terrace.
