The brief
This boutique hotel had just become part of the Park Plaza umbrella and was undergoing a complete refurbishment. It was looking for a PR company to plan a strategic PR campaign which would raise the profile of the new brand.
Our approach
We attracted the attention of the travel press via well thought out announcements and encouraged journalists to review the hotel. We created specially tailored packages which targeted potential clients of the hotel. We formed alliances with neighbouring businesses and created an incentive scheme which encouraged local residents to use the hotel facilities and organised a number of events, targeting key industries.
The result
The hotel, restaurant and bar became a popular destination, visited by travellers from around the world and frequented by local residents. The hotel is now established as a luxury, boutique hotel and sets a precedent for other hotels which are considering joining the Park Plaza Group.
